Ratings Summary
One of the spots to camp at a very popular place. Cultus Lake attracts people from all around, including Vancouver, so you should expect crowds in nice shiny days. The lake is beautiful and good for swimming and variety of water activities.
The downside is price as well as bunch of restrictions. One that may be important is that you are not allowed with more than 4 adults on a site. We had 5, so I had to additionally book a tent site, which made the total price cosmic. The campground has an epic 22 pages PDF document listing hundreds of cases for which you can be penalized with a $100-500 fine. I don't believe many of them are enforceable, but it worth to keep it in mind. Not picking up pets excrements is listed there, but still it does not help against dogs poop on the beach.
Despite all cons, I would stay here again because of the lake. Anyway, there is no other serviced places on Cultus Lake, though you can stay in couple of regular provincial campgrounds (dry).
