Fantastic views. Excellent photo ops and pictures of the surrounding landscape and view of Banff. Everything was great I only offer a few warning to others. 1 bring a jacket even if it's warm down in Banff. 2 try and get tickets online and for a time slot before 9am am. And 3 make sure to bring a camera.
Great way to take in all of Banff. They are currently renovating the top but all the lookouts are still open and when they are done renovating it will be even better. Make sure to explore all the little trails at the top. It was $40 if I remember right.
I would do this 80 more times if I could! Beautiful views from the mountain, and there is even a hiking trail to take you all the way to the top. VERY easy trail, as it is essentially a boardwalk.
Make sure you have your park pass and that it is presented in your cars dashboard as to avoid a ticket.
Pricy but so worth it. Some incredible views
I absolutely LOVED this part of my trip to Banff. It is such a breath-taking view when you've reached the summit. Unforgettable.
Just an awesome experience. Few trails once you get to the top. Nice little sized gondolas, everybody gets a great view on the way up or down.
I visited Banff in October and was able to ride the gondola and spend half the day up there taking photos. Although they are pretty busy in the summer since I was there on a slow day I actually got to ride up all by myself in a gondola since I was traveling alone
