Woodbrigde Art Gallery

Our gallery is in the historic village of Woodbridge, which is an easy 30 minute drive from Hobart. Woodbridge is the only Channel village that was not destroyed by the terrible 1967 bush fires. Right next door to us is the famous Peppermint Bay Hotel so you can have an amazing lunch or a cup of coffee then browse in our gallery and little shop. We sell a wide range of locally made arts and crafts, from oil paintings and sculptures to knitted beanies and hand made cards. We specialise in jewellery made from Tasmanian gemstones. We find these gemstones ourselves and make them into rings, pendants and necklaces. We have a large display of specimens of Tasmanian rocks, fossils, crystals and minerals for the collector or just to look at. You are most welcome to come and browse our collections.There are also interesting tumbled Tasmanian gemstones that kids love to look through. We also stock a range of local history books. From our gallery you can enjoy a lovely walk through Woodbridge and visit its many historic sites.
