Bridge Cottage Comprises of 2 self-contained, heritage-listed co-joined cottages. The ARMOURY COTTAGE and THE SERGEANTS COTTAGE. STAY IN YOUR OWN PRIVATE COTTAGE - located in the centre of Richmond village and overlooking the Historic Richmond Bridge. COMFY AND COSY AND YOURS TO ENJOY - RELAX by the open fire after a day exploring Richmond Village ENJOY complementary port and chocolates. Bridge Cottage was Built by convicts in 1823 the same year as the construction of the Historic Richmond Bridge to accommodate the Sergeant in charge of the construction of the Richmond Bridge and the Village’s arms store. Both cottages have been fully restored. RICHMOND is an historic village, 20 minutes (27 kilometres/17 miles) north east of Hobart and 15 minutes to Hobart Airport. Cottages Feature.
