Since opening in the iconic Honeysuckle Railway Workshops in 2011, Newcastle Museum has blossomed with high visitor numbers, an extensive exhibition program and a dynamic range of community events for a diverse audience. Feedback from visitors has been overwhelmingly positive. It is a free accessible Museum open Tuesday - Sunday and seven days during school holidays.

Great museum for tourists and children. Gives some nice history of Newcastle and interactive exhibits that take a good amount of time to see all of. Best part is it's free too. Read more

The main part of the museum with Newcastle history is free to the public. The other side with science is not free. We stopped here for like 30-45 mins and it was a nice stop. Most of Newcastle... Read more
