The Old Courthouse

The Old Courthouse located on Bay Road, was once the centre for law enforcement for the region, and still retains original courtroom furniture. It was the site of several important criminal trials. The Old Courthouse was opened in 1865 and experienced continuous use until the new Courthouse was built in 1975. You can sit in the jury box, visit the judge's chamber, and inspect the cells.
