Jaime Murcia is an award-winning street and travel photographer, author and guide who's twin passions are photography and experiencing different cultures. Jaime loves telling stories through images. As a freelance photographer with over 27 years of experience, he has been commissioned and published by a wide range of clients including Qantas Australian Way magazine, National Geographic Traveller, Time, Royal Auto, Good Weekend, newspapers, books and websites. He is a member and past President of MAPgroup (Many Australian Photographers), a non-profit association of around forty photographers who share a passion and commitment to high quality, independent documentary image making. He recently completed his first solo book ‘Little Big Town’, A photographic journey through Melbourne’s little streets and laneways. A number of his photos are held in the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra and the National Library of Australia.
