Battery Point Garden Studio offers self-contained bed and breakfast accommodation in Battery Point, Hobart. Originally a port and maritime village, Battery Point is a five-minute walk from the central business district of Hobart. The Battery Point Garden Studio's Garden Room can accommodate two guests in one double bedroom. The Balcony Room has a queen sized bed and there is a trundle bed for a third person. Rooms have ensuite bathrooms and a common sitting/dining area with an extensive Tasmanian library. A fresh breakfast basket can be delivered to the door each morning. Battery Point is named after a battery of guns (long since removed) that were established on the point in 1818. There are a huge number of heritage and National Trust-listed buildings in the area, including the Georgian sandstone warehouses of Salamanca Place.
