The beaches in the Glenelg area are some of the best you will find anywhere. Glenelg Beach is Adelaide's most popular beach, offering a buzzing vibe and great atmosphere for all to enjoy. There are always fun events happening at Glenelg from volleyball tournaments to New Year's Eve concerts and fireworks. There are fantastic shops, cafes and restaurants nearby too. Somerton Beach is the ideal beach to relax and watch the world go by. The Somerton Surf Life Savers work hard to make sure that the beach is safe so you can relax with family or friends. It is a perfect setting for a quiet getaway to read a book or for a relaxing swim. Brighton Beach is family-friendly and safe. The whole family will enjoy this beach. There is a jetty to cast a reel off from and fun family events such as the Brighton Jetty Classic Swim and Sculptures. Seacliff Beach is the perfect beach to spend a warm evening watching the sunset. This beach offers privacy to allow a romantic summers night. This beach is also close to Kingston Park bay so it's quite calm, perfect for a young family.
