The Dead Rabbit

The Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog embodies the conviviality of Old New York and the Irish-American tradition. Our ground-floor Taproom offers an informal setting for the enjoyment of craft beer, bottled punch, and whiskeys of the world, with lunch served daily. Upstairs, our sumptuous Parlor focuses on small plates, communal punch, and 72 historically-accurate cocktails dreamed up by the nineteenth century’s most celebrated bartenders. The Dead Rabbit is dedicated to advancing the art and practice of hospitality, as it was understood then and as it is understood now, for all residents of and visitors to this great metropolis. Also one of the best places to grab a gin and tonic in New York City. Their variation uses Orinoco bitters, beefeater gin, lime essence, and Fentimans tonic water.
