“the library of America's 39th president”
Located in Atlanta, Georgia, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum is part of the Presidential Library system administered by the National Archives and Records Administration, a United States government agency. It is not a library in the usual sense but is a research facility and a museum. The archives is a repository of approximately 27 million pages of Jimmy Carter's White House material, papers of administration associates, including documents, memoranda, correspondence, etc. There are also 1/2 million photographs, and hundreds of hours of film, audio and video tape.
A good way to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. Easily accessible and not too pricey. Read more
Cool place to learn about President Carter. The exhibit is actually pretty big. I would suggest to stay for 1.5 hours if you want to go thru everything. Read more
